YELLOW JACKET

Yellow jacket is a bright yellow open weave glass fabric made of glass fibre yard and synthetic resins. Why bright yellow? That’s so the waterproofing professional can see when the fabric is completely embedded in the coating compound. That’s especially important when lighting around the project is poor.

The glass fibre in the product will not rot. Mildew won’t form on it, and water won’t wick into the coating material.

It’s an integral part of a superior external waterproofing solution for the home. Yellow jacket is applied to the external foundation cement wall after the first coat of Aqua-Bloc liquid membrane is applied with a trowel.

After the Yellow Jacket is applied, another coat of Aqua-Bloc goes on, covering every inch of the foundation. This protects the foundation even more from water filtration.
