Canada Waterproofers replaced weeping tile for my house, it was an incredible experience with them, the team was very knowledgeable. They found the issue where other teams could not. It was related to hydrostatic pressure that water was entering my basement. They were quick and resolved the issue at a very minimal price. We were very happy with our experience doing indoor waterproofing with Canada Waterproofers. Like many other homeowners, we had some flooding in our basement after the big storm last summer. Carl was communicative and kind throughout the process answering our questions thoughtfully and helping us figure out how best to prevent future flooding for our specific scenario based on our property, grading etc. His team were also great, they were very respectful of our space and time and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their work. In addition to the waterproofing they also did demo of our bathroom and some other interior walls ahead of a renovation we are planning. During the job they found some messed up and outdated pipes and were able to replace and repair them quickly as well. The price was also competitive and they have a warranty. I'd highly recommend Canada Waterproofers for any waterproofing needs.
I had Canada Waterproofers complete waterproofing in my house. I called a few contractors that provided me a quote, but I got the best offer from them. Andrii responded quickly to my request and provided a reasonable quotation and a solution to my basement waterproofing issue.I had another contractor do the work before I called Canada Waterproofers and they didn’t do the work properly, but Andrii reassured us that they will do a great job and they really did. He is really knowledgeable and has great communication skills.Vasyl and Alex were very organized and meticulous with the work they did. After completing the job, they cleaned the work area. I give them 10/10 and would recommend them to my friends.
Vasyl was amazing to deal with from start to finish. He has an honest and genuine approach to determining what needs to be done. He even lent me a couple of his tools after the job to let me fix something else after the job. He's also come back a couple of times to check in and make sure things are working properly. Andrii was incredible. Incredible!! We had a seepage leak in our basement and couldn’t find the cause after asking multiple people to come and take a look at it. I had Canada Waterproofers waterproof the exterior of my home in September 2024 and they did an exceptional job.They set up an appointment to meet with me to discuss and inspect the areas which required waterproofing. They inspected the areas both from the outside as well as the inside. They provided detailed explanations of the work they felt was required based on their inspection and then provided me with a detailed written quote. They didn't pressure me for an immediate answer, instead they followed up with me days later to discuss whether or not I wanted to proceed. Once I agreed, we set up a mutually agreeable date for the work to commence.The workers were polite, professional and worked in an organized manner. They only opened a trench the length they could complete in a day so there was never a trench left open overnight. Each day they opened a new section to work on until they completed all areas. The area was kept neat as they worked and was cleaned up each night before they left.Overall, it was a very good experience from start to finish. I feel their pricing was reasonable for the work they did and I am relieved I no longer have to worry about water in my basement.

We experienced basement flooding from seepage on July 16, 2024 from the massive rainfall in Toronto. Being new homeowners it was a stressful situation. I was referred to Canada Waterproofers by a friend who had a good experience with them. Slava and his team completed exterior waterproofing on three of our walls and installed a battery back up sump pump within about 2 weeks of the flood. They completed all of the work over three full days which we found very impressive. They left the job site as they found it and even our neighbours commented on how efficiently and tidy their work was. We also found the price reasonable considering it required a lot of manual labor. Slava took the time to explain how the waterproofing works, how the sump pump works and even explained to us about our back up water valve (which was installed previously). We definitely recommend Slava and his team and will most certainly call on them again if we ever want to waterproof the fourth wall or do additional plumping work.

I am always skeptical of companies in these types of industries receiving so many 5-star reviews but with this one, I get it. Similar to others, we had a fantastic experience with Canada Waterproofers. They did interior waterproofing (with sump pump installation), camera inspection and service pipe replacement (from outside the house), as well as a main water valve change for us. Andrew/Andrii (the client rep) was a joy to deal with; responsive, friendly, detail-oriented, and gave the most competitive quotes (balancing experience and price) out of the many places I reached out to. Andrew the technician and the rest of his team were also great; they were on time, worked efficiently but carefully, and were communicative and professional throughout. We had a complicated service pipe issue that required detailed inspection and some analysis on how best to tackle it and Carl (the owner, I believe) came to do the inspection himself, who was extremely knowledgeable and clearly very experienced. We received detailed quotes before accepting the jobs as well as professional looking packages with warranty certificates, etc. following completion. The way this company presented itself - which it then backed up with its work - made us feel confident and comfortable throughout the process and brought my anxiety way down (which is not an easy thing to do, as I'm sure Andrii, who patiently answered my many, many calls and questions, can attest to). I have yet to find any reason not to go back to them for all plumbing/waterproofing related work in the future.
The company is not after your money. Carl, the owner came to our house, inspected everything and explained all the steps. He is honest and has a sense of humour. Afterall, he did not recommend waterproofing our basement. Can't get any more honest than that!

I was having water leaking in our basement for a while just after periods of rains. ,but every time it rain the leak was getting worse , therefore making me more anxious. So after looking online for a reputable company I came across Canada Waterproofers. I gave them a call and got surprised on how quick they were able to come and take a look and give me the best solution to our situation. Carl and his team were excellent and we have no hesitation recommending. Having undertaken an entire home renovation Canada Waterproofers provided great recommendations and pricing. We had a very tight timeframe to get the work done to stay on schedule. They started on time and finished in half the estimated time allowing us to maintain schedule. Work included a complete replacement of all our underground sewer lines, moving of rough in’s, new window wells and an entire interior waterproofing of all walls.
Very impressive company.First of all Valentyn is a nice person, very good at assessing the problem (experienced), and easy to work with.He came at the appointment time and assessed the issue very quickly. He determined that the cylinder needed replacing to fix the lukewarm water issue (cylinder allowing mixing of water) and that the spout was causing the leak behind the wall.It all made sense, based on where the leak was damaging the wall.He reseated the old, loose spout with new (orange) plumbing tape (thicker than white tape) and it screwed in tightly to the vertical. The new cylinder will be ordered to replace the old one, if available. Otherwise, Valentyn will redo the faucet system. He explained how this would all be done if that needed to happen.We are very happy with Valentyn and and would recommend him to anyone.
This is our second time using Canada Waterproofers and would never call anyone else. Their first basement waterproofing job for us has held for the last 6 years with no problems despite occasional heavy rains. They gave us really beautiful window-well covers too- our friends and neighbours ask where to get them . Aside from great work, they are on time, on budget and very polite. Contacted CW because a leak in the building's foundation was coming through our drywall and flooding the inside of our office. It took CW less than a day to completely patch the leak. There have been no issues since.
I contacted CW because I wanted to underpin my my century home in old Milton as I had 6' ceiling and wanted to increase them to 8'.Carl was very helpful and explained the underpinning process thoroughly. I found that I needed to obtain a permit before I could get quotations for the underpinning and Carl recommended a structural engineer who assisted me in obtaining the permits for construction.CW's quotations were competitive and their communication was fast and informative. Note: Canada Waterproofers were the only company that quoted a complete solution for the project. Others required that I hire a plumber or General Contractor in addition to their quotation.Work started on time and the two guys (Andrew and Stas) worked extremely hard until the project was done. I was always kept informed of the project's progress and any concerns that I had were addressed immediately.This is very professional company and their work has been first class. I highly recommend them!
Where to start.... This is the second time we have worked with Carl and his team at Canada Waterproofers.Several years ago we searched for a company who could waterproof the foundation of our house (built circa 1950's). We selected Canada Waterproofers and they did a wonderful job.The crew that arrived was professional and polite.At the time we opted to do three sides of the house as we figured the garage side wouldn't need it. Well fast forward to the fall of 2024, and a flood of the intersection in front of our house spilled onto the driveway and into the garage. Since the foundation is cinder block the basement got wet to say the least.We called Carl and he was very prompt in coming over to our home. He assessed the work required and provided us a quote within a couple of days. We made our decision and pulled the trigger. Once we were able to clear the garage the team arrived and were able to complete all the work within two days. The weeping tile was tested to ensure there were no blockages and was draining to our sump. Very happy with the prompt service.The team that arrived this time was fantastic to work with. They were very knowledgable, polite, and have an amazing work ethic.Additional interior waterproofing was also done on the inside of the house under the front stairs as this was not as easy to accomplish from the outside. The guys made short work of this job while making sure to do a thorough and complete job. After they were done you would not know they were there. Very happy!If we ever need waterproofing again (hopefully not) I wouldn't hesitate to hire Carl and his team at Canada Waterproofers.

We had a leak anytime we had a heavy rainfall. The guys from Canada Waterproofers did an amazing job helping us with interior waterproofing in the winter. They installed a pump to redirect the water away from the house. The work only took a couple days and Carl was awesome and friendly through organizing the whole project. Much faster and easier process than I thought. Highly recommend.

I had replaced my sump pump two months ago. Had Valentine install it.Yesterday, we were noticing a lot of water hammering noise and vibration. So called him today. He promptly responded to my call. Then he dropped by and identified the issue as a defective check valve. And so did the necessary repairs/replacement per our warranty coverage. I am very satisfied with the service and the quick response time. So will definitely call them for other similar projects.

We contacted Canada Waterproofers on a Friday and had a callback sameday and then advised their plumber, Valentine would call which he did within 1 business day.Valentine offered to come the same week to conduct a site inspection. Carl and his team at Canada Waterproofers are 10/10 both in their absolute professionalism, care for their customers and their quality of work. After the major storms in mid July hit the GTA most of the homes on our street experienced flooding. Only a few homes did not flood, two of which Carl’s team had previously worked on to do waterproofing efforts - so they came already highly recommended from our neighbours. They were timely in their communication, thorough and transparent in walking us through our options. They completed the work in a timely manner with great attention to detail and respecting the space they work in. We had another set of big storms shortly after they had completed our job and our house stayed bone dry! 🙂 Two other neighbours of ours have also used them since our job and both had the same great experience we did. Would 100% recommend- they are one of the good ones!

Andri and his team did a fantastic job waterproofing two area’s around the external foundation of our home. From the consultation with Andri through to execution was seamless and very informative. Andri is really knowledgeable and great to work with. The team was on time, neat and fixed the leaking coming into our basement. After 30 minutes of work we talked through what was actually needed and ended up saving us thousands. Andrew and his team are true professionals. They installed the backwater valve at my tenanted property in Etobicoke recently. I was having a toilet water clogging issue. I contacted my previous provider first but they did not help out with this issue. When I connected with Andrew, he came the next day and inspected the property and discussed the issue. I even did not meet him, he gave me a quote and it was quite reasonable. Andrew discussed with me the whole process. Within a week they installed the backwater valve. They came on time and finished it. These guys are amazing. I will not hesitate to contact them for any similar kind of issue or for other services if I need.

We’ve used Canada Waterproofers twice and had excellent service both times. A few years ago, they waterproofed our basement wall along the driveway, and they repaired the concrete driveway after the ground had settled. Recently, when we found water on the floor, we called Carl to help with a leak that appeared to be in our main stack. Carl sent Peter who expertly diagnosed and fixed the problem with minimal damage to the drywall. He replaced the kitchen drain pipe connected to the stack and replaced a faulty shut off valve under the sink. All of our interactions with Canada Waterproofers have been friendly and helpful. We have recommended them to family and friends.

I called this company to come investigate my basement leak and fix immediately. Upon investigation, it was made know it's was a plumbing issue. I dealt with Andrew and I couldn't question how intelligent he was which speaks from his years of experience. He did not have to rip the wall open. He walked around the house and checked all the wall outside etc .Oh well, it was indeed a plumbing issue and we paid nothing to get the leak source investigated.Thanks so much Andrew for your intellegent.I will recommend this company because it's clear they have experience employees that are ready to help and not take advantage.

It turned out to be more complex than anticipated, but he worked diligently to resolve the problem. His experience and expertise were evident as we watched him work. Valentine from Canada Waterproofers came to my house and did a FANTASTIC job repairing a water leak we had. He diagnosed where the leak was coming from and then voluntarily chose to repair it with a high quality copper pipe which typically would've costed more. He also noticed another issue with the pipes where the previous contractor had implemented a poor shortcut solution that would've broken down over time and fixed that proactively as well. Valentine and Canada Waterpoofers went completely above and beyond my expectations and did even more than what was required of the job. They did all this at great value for the dollar as well. I was waiting to write this review for almost 1 year to be sure that the waterproofing was truly as good as these guys said it was. I have to tell you that it has performed exactly how they said it would, and I am very impressed. Slava was very knowledgeable and always could answer any question that I asked him, which showed me he knew a lot about waterproofing. His guys were very knowledgeable and performed an amazing job, as you can see in the picture. You wouldn’t even know that a job was performed if it wasn’t for my dry basement, but I can tell you that a great job was performed. I will refer this company to everyone as I now have proof that their work was performed as promised. FYI – I even got a follow-up call after the job from management to make sure I was happy with the work, which I found very professional. Thanks guys

CORRECTLY DIAGNOSED
I had a leak in my basement as the snow started to melt. After that happened I called Canada Waterproofers, and a technician Slava came to inspect it within hours after my call. Turns out it wasn’t a wall problem. It was my window leaking because the window well wasn’t installed properly and didn’t have a drainage pipe. The next day after the initial visit a crew came in the morning, dug down to the footing and waterproofed the wall, with a proper drainage tube up to the top of the soil in the window well. Finished with gravel and clean all around. Amazing work. I highly recommend them. Great price for work done.

I called Canada Waterproofers because my basement got flooded with the heavy rains (many possessions were damaged) and I wanted a permanent solution so it didn’t happen again in the future. A technician came to my house at a time that was convenient for me, and gave me a reasonable estimate and valuable information regarding a rebate program for backwater valves and sump pumps available for houses in the GTA area. I decided to proceed with the job and it was carried out to my satisfaction, plus I get some money back and a 25-year warranty. Can’t beat value. Now when it rains I have the peace-of-mind that my basement will be very dry and also if something goes wrong I can call them and they will come back to fix it. Definitely would recommend this company to anyone.
