DELTA CLIPS TO HOLD MEMBRANE

Delta clips, or fasteners, are used to hold the waterproofing membrane in place.

After the Delta membrane has been rolled out along the wall, with one person holding the membrane, another person installs the delta fasteners. Those are installed in intervals of 12 inches in a “W” pattern, about 4-6 inches below the orange stripe running horizontally along the top of the membrane.

The sheet should fit tightly against the concrete foundation wall.

The fasteners or clips are made of HDPE (high-density polyethylene) and are orange in colour. They are used with a concrete nail.

In the end the fasteners provide excellent holding power, with no tear-out from the wall during the backfill process.
