Hillview Cres, Falgarwood, Oakville, L6H 2C7, exterior waterproofing
Property Address:
Hillview Cres, Falgarwood, Oakville, ON L6H 2C7
Description of Work:
Exterior foundation waterproofing was completed to address active water leakage at a corner section of the foundation. Prior to excavation, the existing air conditioning unit was professionally removed and later reinstalled by a licensed HVAC contractor to allow safe and proper access to the affected area.
The foundation was excavated to footing level and fully exposed. Once exposed, the foundation surface was thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Extensive concrete pitting and multiple rod holes were identified, which were allowing groundwater penetration and causing leakage.
All defects were properly repaired and sealed before waterproofing began. The foundation was then treated using our 6‑stage exterior waterproofing process, including the application of Aqua‑Bloc® 720‑38 rubberized foundation membrane. Reinforcement fabric was embedded between coats where required, followed by additional protective layers and a drainage membrane to protect the waterproofing system and manage hydrostatic pressure.
After waterproofing was completed, the excavation was carefully backfilled and the work area restored. The air conditioning unit was then reinstalled by the licensed HVAC professional.
Result:
The foundation corner is now fully sealed and protected using a proven exterior waterproofing system. The source of leakage caused by concrete pitting and rod holes has been eliminated, providing long‑term protection against future water intrusion.
