Once the area was opened, approximately 4 feet of broken sewer pipe was removed. The surrounding tile flooring was cut cleanly and precisely to ensure the homeowner could easily reinstall new tiles afterward. Edges were left straight and tidy to minimize restoration work.

A new 4-inch PVC section of pipe was installed to replace the damaged portion. The new pipe was connected using two Fernco couplings, ensuring a secure, flexible, and long‑lasting connection to the existing sewer line. After installation, the line was tested to confirm proper flow and functionality.

The excavation area was then backfilled and the concrete floor restored to its original level, leaving a clean and professional finish.
