Description of Work:
Drainage improvements were completed along the rear perimeter of the garden to improve surface and subsurface water management and prevent water accumulation near the property.

Approximately 60 linear feet of trench was excavated to install a new French drain system. A filter cloth was installed along the base of the trench, followed by the installation of perforated weeping tile with filter for the full length of the excavation. The drainage system was provided with a discharge point to the side of the property to allow proper water flow away from the home.

The weeping tile was surrounded with clean gravel, and the filter cloth was securely wrapped around the completed drainage system to prevent soil infiltration. The trench was then backfilled to grade using topsoil, with the top 3 inches finished in clean topsoil.

A new catch basin with overflow was supplied and installed and connected directly to the French drain system to further improve water collection and drainage performance.

All work areas were protected during construction, and a full clean‑up was completed upon completion of the project.

Result:
The property now has an effective drainage solution in place that improves water control, reduces the risk of pooling and moisture issues, and enhances long‑term site drainage performance.
