I had Canada Waterproofers complete waterproofing in my house. I called a few contractors that provided me a quote, but I got the best offer from them. Andrii responded  quickly to my request and provided a reasonable quotation and a solution to my basement waterproofing issue. I had another contractor do the work before I called Canada Waterproofers and they didn’t do the work properly, but Andrii reassured us that they will do a great job and they really did. He is really knowledgeable and has great communication skills. Vasyl and Alex were very organized and meticulous with the work they did. After completing the job, they cleaned the work area. I give them 10/10 and would recommend them to my friends.

We had a leak anytime we had a heavy rainfall. The guys from Canada Waterproofers did an amazing job helping us with interior waterproofing in the winter. They installed a pump to redirect the water away from the house. The work only took a couple days and Carl was awesome and friendly through organizing the whole project. Much faster and easier process than I thought. Highly recommend.

Carl and his team did a fantastic job, waterproofing a small section of our foundation, installing a proper drain in a window well and putting everything back together, looking snazzy. Canada Waterproofers are excellent in their trade.  I would highly recommend them if you need waterproofing. Had some water issues in my basement and wanted to be certain they were addressed before finishing the basement. Carl helped me understand what was needed and walked me through the options and gave his recommendations.  He was one of three quotes that I received.  His quote was fair and I appreciated his helpful advice and professionalism.   Every question was answered quickly and gave me a lot of confidence in my decision. When the work started, Dimitri and his crew worked quickly, taking care to keep me informed. They exceeded my expectations on how well they treated my house (wrapping furniture,  furnace, freezer, washer/dryer and minimizing the dust spread on the house). I couldn’t believe how hard they worked to get the job done. It’s clear to see the level of pride in the work they do. Thanks to both Dimitri and Carl for a job very well done!

I had a fantastic experience with Canada Waterproofers! Salesman Andrew was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and guided me through the entire waterproofing process as well as all possible options to solve my problem.  He answered all my questions over multiple phone conversations and visits and never made me feel as though I was a bother. The hardworking crew, Dmitri, Victor, and Grigorii, displayed remarkable attention to detail and completed the job flawlessly all while keeping a tight,  clean work area so my family could continue our daily routine without interruption of any kind. Haven’t seen guys hustle like that in a long time. I don’t often hire contractors to do work and when I do I take my time to find the right contractor. I can be picky and tough to please as my attention to detail can be excessive  These guys hit the mark! Don’t look any further when  hiring someone to perform any task listed on their website. My basement is now dry and secure. I highly recommend Canada Waterproofers for their expertise and dedication.

I contacted CW because I wanted to underpin my my century home in old Milton as I had 6' ceiling and wanted to increase them to 8'. Carl was very helpful and explained the underpinning process thoroughly. I found that I needed to obtain a permit before I could get quotations for the underpinning and Carl recommended a structural engineer who assisted me in obtaining the permits for construction. CW's quotations were competitive and their communication was fast and informative. Note: Canada Waterproofers were the only company that quoted a complete solution for the project. Others required that I hire a plumber or General Contractor in addition to their quotation. Work started on time and the two guys (Andrew and Stas) worked extremely hard until the project was done. I was always kept informed of the project's progress and any concerns that I had were addressed immediately. This is very professional company and their work has been first class. I highly recommend them!

Basement leak There was a leak in the church house basement for the last couple of years and it just got worst over time. Andrew from Canada waterproofers came out to give us an estimate, and was able to identify the leak from a couple areas going into the basement. The board was very impressed at the quick response and turn around time from identifying the leak, and when the company was contracted to do the work. His price was competitive with the 3 other contractors that we looked at. Thank you to Andrew and his team for the great job they did and for the pictures to show what was done.

The best plumbers! Kitchen drain cleared and repaired. Valentin did an amazing job solving our kitchen plumbing issues. I would highly recommend Valentin and Canada Waterproofers. Very nice guy and highly experienced and professional. This is the second time we have hired Canada Waterproofers for different repairs in the last few years and they do a really amazing job. Valentin snaked out the line, and replaced some broken plumbing under the sink and in the basement ceiling. FYI, we had previously hired a 24 hour plumber (who turned out to be a new guy on probation with very little experience) who couldn't clear the pipes and just ended up cracking some of our pipes with his snake and leaving saying it couldn't be fixed. We should have gone with tried and true experience of guys like Valentin from Canada Waterproofers.

Leaking pipe repair in hard to reach area Valentine from Canada Waterproofers came to my house and did a FANTASTIC job repairing a water leak we had. He diagnosed where the leak was coming from and then voluntarily chose to repair it with a high quality copper pipe which typically would've costed more. He also noticed another issue with the pipes where the previous contractor had implemented a poor shortcut solution that would've broken down over time and fixed that proactively as well. Valentine and Canada Waterpoofers went completely above and beyond my expectations and did even more than what was required of the job. They did all this at great value for the dollar as well. Highly recommend this company and technician. Thank you!

repair leaking toilet and sink drain pipe Val from Canada Waterproofers was very patient in repairing a toilet seal leak. He was able to set the toilet on an uneven floor, levelled and sealed it. He was thorough and made sure there were no further leaks. He also repaired a leaking sink drain pipe and again made sure there were no leaks. When I mentioned I was going to call and book an appointment later on to have our sump pump and back water valve checked, he was kind enough to do that for us as well before he left. Thank-you Val!!

Amazing plumber spot on source of leak 3 other plumbers failed Boris is a true professional 10/10 plumber because he determined the source of the 2nd floor shower leak right away which 3 others plumbers from other companies failed. He fixed the problem without opening the main floor ceiling. He showed up on time, ensured quality service and charged us a reasonable price for fixing the shower, replacing garburator and replacing kitchen faucet. All 3 issues completed in less than 2 hrs. We are so glad we found Canada Waterproofers online. We will strongly recommend Boris from Canada Waterproofers to our families and friends for their plumbing problems.

Great Service, Very Satisfied. I first read the ratings here and obtained a quote from the top company and from Canada Waterproofers. I initially went with the top company as they had the better presentation. Canada Waterproofers had a less polished presentation but I was impressed by the sincerity of their rep – Slava as well as having the lesser quote. After numerous delays and tardy call backs by the initially selected top company, I decided to revert to Canada Waterproofers and I am very glad I did. They were very responsive and catered to all of my concerns. They conducted themselves very professionally and did an extraordinary job. Slava was very knowledgeable and explained everything throughout the process. All of my neighbours were also impressed. Additionally, I requested a 25-year transferable warranty which they provided. I would definitely highly recommend them.

Clogged drain Had a main line clog. Borys from Canada Waterproofers worked with me to get a time that worked for me and even came sooner when I realized I could not wait. His labour very reasonably priced. I am a single woman and I am always worried about being taken advantage of so googled everything I could before technician came. Boris did everything by the book and was at the low spectrum of the pricing for the job. I recommend him and Canada Waterproofers to everyone!

We've had problems with a damp basement for years, which has become more urgent with recent heavy rains. Carl assessed the situation, recommended a combination of exterior and interior weeping tile with a sump pump. Job was completed quickly by a team of 5 workers. Some dampness reappeared in a corner at end of weeping tile line, and the company returned promptly to dig around a difficult corner, under a deck. Problem resolved, no extra cost. Very hard-working and pleasant employees. Carl went the extra mile for us, as did his team. We highly recommend this company.

Clog and leak repair My kitchen sink got clogged and leaked. I tried to snake it but did not get success. Boris from Canada Waterproofers was the most technologically advanced plumber that I've used. He was very responsive to phone and text in a very timely matter. Even provided a quote via pictures and video that helped expedite hiring. He repaired my leak and removed clog for a price that I would say was more reasonable than other companies quotes for plumbing services. Thumbs up!

Exterior Waterproofing (One Wall) + Sump Pump I was really impressed with all aspects of Canada Waterproofers. We received a very competitive quote from Carl, who came by and assessed our situation and didn't try to upsell. Once we booked our date, it had to be pushed back - not Canada Waterproofers' fault, the city was backlogged and didn't come by to do the locates in time. Canada Waterproofers gave me a heads up in advance, and called me every day following that to give me an update on their efforts with the city. Once the locates were done, the workers came out pretty much right away. They did a great job - they worked incredibly hard to get the job done in one day, working until after dark and leaving the place clean. A couple of weeks later we received our sump pump rebate forms in the mail from Canada Waterproofers. They had filled them out for us except for signature - all we had to do is sign and send off to the city. This is a great, professional company.

Basement external waterproofing and window enlargement My unfinished basement had a slight leak so I wanted to waterproof the outside walls before finishing it. I had one company do one side, but they were not available to do the other side, although they had already quoted the work. I also contacted another company that seemed very professional, but they couldn't start for a while. So I contacted Canada Waterproofers after reading the great HomeStars reviews and I am so glad I did. They were able to meet the quote of the first company (cheaper than the second company). They performed the work in an extremely professional manner. Most important of all, they communicated frequently and clearly and were willing to address EVERY little concern that I raised along the way, no matter how trivial, without extra cost and with utmost courtesy. It was a very pleasant experience plus the workmanship was top notch. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for hard-working, honest home improvement professionals. We had three basement windows enlarged plus a brand new window cut and the city inspector had to inspect the new lintel. He passed it with no issues at all. Even the window installers who came to install the new windows commented that the waterproofing workmanship was obviously a very high quality. The jobsite was kept as clean as possible at all times, using dropcloths to avoid tracking mud whenever they had to enter the house. When there was a delay in the window well covers from the supplier, Carl immediately retained a different company to ensure the delay to me would be minimal. Final payment was never requested until all work was completed and I confirmed I was satisfied. If I ever need more waterproofing I will definitely be calling Carl from Canada Waterproofers back. Inspection and Estimate After a small re-occurring leak in my basement coming from the corner of the house got progressively worse with the recent easter rainstorms, I called in a downspout company, thinking we needed to disconnect our downspouts. They came out, recommended we disconnect all the downspouts and waterproof a 4ft section of the house where the leak was coming in. The quote was for $6000+tax. Being scared by the cost, we decided to get a waterproofing expert in for a second opinion. I choose Canada Waterproofers based on their homestar reviews, which I read in detail. I was also impressed that I was able to book my appointment via on-line chat for the following weekend. Slava, from Canada Waterproofers, called me the day of to confirm he was coming and arrived on time as expected. When he arrived he put on little blue shoe covers to keep the floors clean. Then he got right to work and inspected the basement, inside and out, tested out sewage pump (which we previously thought was a sump pump), and then inspected the leak area using a tool to test the temperature. Slava then suggested we test the area outside with a garden house to determine where leak was coming from. We have an aged outside door that he hypothesized might be the source of the leak and not the concrete. He stayed for almost an hour and we thoroughly watered the area. Sure enough, the water is coming from the door and not the foundation wall. He suggested we seal up or replace the door as a first step as he felt that would solve our leak issues. He then recommended considering the waterproofing option only if the leak came back. I was surprised and relieved. Addressing the door will be considerably cheaper and I appreciated his honesty in solving the issue, despite the fact it means we are not hiring his company at this time. I offered to pay him for his time which he declined. Both my husband and I are grateful and would have them back to waterproof if the time comes that we need it.
